Most Inspiring Story

Back in 2012, I got my first job at 16 working at McDonalds. I was known to be the one to do the dirty jobs no one else was interested in doing. I was rigorously cleaning the tables and floors and I did so willingly. From a young age I recognized that there is an opportunity everywhere you look. I have been fortunate to come from a family with a strong work ethic and my father instilled those values in me as a child. Those moments doing the “dirty jobs’ were pivotal for me as a business owner and as a man. I use the skills I learned in my first job at McDonalds to build a strong business where clients and employees are treated with dignity, care and support.

As a CEO and entrepreneur, I’m not the only one with stories starting in fast food or retail. You can start from anywhere – you can learn the skills necessary to be successful in any environment.

As I was cleaning, a random stranger came in and bluntly said: “I don’t know you, but I know that you are going to be extremely successful.” Once they said that, it hit me like a ton of bricks. I’ve never had anyone outside of my family encourage me in that way. This quick conversation nspired me to become successful. That moment clarified what God had in store for me.
That man set a lightbulb off in my head with his words of encouragement. He didn’t know me, who was I to him? He saw something in me that I knew was there, too. In that moment, I vowed to myself that I would inspire as many people as possible through my actions, hard work, dedication and most importantly, my love for God.

Taking a cue from that spontaneous McDonald’s motivator, his mission becomes clear: to be the voice telling others they’re destined for success in whatever they set their hearts on. From that day onward, he makes a personal commitment – to be a living inspiration, not just through words but through the grind, unwavering dedication, and his unwavering faith in God.

Lasting Impact

Now, when he talks about a “lasting impact,” it’s not some fancy, complicated idea. It’s about making a difference that sticks around, like a positive mark that stands the test of time.

In Grantham’s book, a lasting impact is like leaving footprints that stay visible long after you’ve walked the path. It’s about doing things today that make it into tomorrow, the day after, and the one after that. Whether it’s learning something new, improving a skill, or just being a bit kinder each day, Grantham believes that those little steps add up.

Grantham sees a lasting impact as a series of small wins building up, like putting together a puzzle where each piece is a bit of positive change. Grantham believes that by aiming for a lasting impact, we’re not just making our own lives better but also making the world better for future generations to come.

Think of the term “lasting impact” like creating a positive ripple effect that keeps going, even when you’re no longer here. It’s about becoming a better version of yourself and, in doing so, leaving a positive mark that sticks around in others. Grantham’s on a mission to show that creating a lasting impact isn’t just for personal gain; it’s a way to contribute to a legacy of positivity that keeps shining, step by step, for generations to come.

My Legacy

Why I do What I do

At first, I was doing what I do for myself, my family, and future generations of my family. As I’ve grown I’ve found that my purpose in life is deeper than that. And really, it was kind of selfish for me to just think about myself. I first realized this at my nana’s funeral. It was bittersweet – I was upset that she was gone but happy because she knew where she was going. Since my Nana’s passing I have found that her legacy has gone way beyond just our family. While we have been blessed by the values that she instilled in us, it was seeing her service packed that made me realize that she touched so many lives outside of our family, too. This is why my mission is to help others spread their own legacies of positivity. That’s the big goal—leaving a legacy that’s not just about you but something that brightens the world for people you may not even know.

Positivity

Everyone has a legacy that they leave behind. It’s up to us to leave a positive one. Explain that

Grantham’s mission is all about spreading good energy and leaving a positive mark. Imagine your legacy not just as what you own or achieve, but as the kind of impact you have on others and the communities you’re a part of. According to Grantham, being positive isn’t just a nice idea; it’s what makes your life story great. He believes that the little things we do every day, how we treat others, and the love we share, all add up to create a story worth telling.

In a world where negativity can sometimes take over, Grantham is all about fighting back with intentional positivity. He wants others to be a positive force that encourages others to do the same. Grantham’s big idea is that your legacy isn’t just something that happens; it’s something you actively create with intention.

In Grantham’s world, he’s cheering everyone on to be mindful of the energy that they are giving to others. It’s not just about feeling good yourself; it’s about joining a team that’s creating a legacy of positivity that’ll inspire generations to come. Imagine a world where each person’s positivity is like a puzzle piece, fitting together to make a picture that’s all about lifting each other up.

Why Progress Is Important to Me

To Grantham, the word “progress” is not a complicated thing. Progress is simply about moving forward, improving little by little, and striving to be your best so others can, too. In Grantham’s world, progress is taking steps towards your goals. It’s about doing things today that’ll make tomorrow great. It could be learning something new, improving a skill, or finding ways to overcome your fears.

First Time Being Fired Story

Here’s the story: I was in my first year in my MBA Program in Miami. I was working for an up and coming property management company and found an opportunity working with them through a classmate in my cohort.

I had never done anything in real estate - I didn’t really know that was a passion of mine until starting this job. I found myself quickly soaking in all the processes of running a successful property management company. I was able to see so many cool houses, penthouses and mansions - I met some cool celebrities. I found that this may be another route in which I wanted to embark.

And then BOOM. Fired. I was never given a real explanation as to why I wouldn’t be working for their company anymore, but I accepted it. Now, living in Miami in college isn’t cheap and I found myself having to find alternative ways to survive out there. It was when I was abruptly fired at the management company that I realized I needed to build my company, Regality Entertainment.

I had begun working on Regality Entertainment a couple of years prior, but now it was go time. There was no reason to not put in the work - I had all the time in the world and I was hungry. I began walking down South Beach stopping by companies and asking if they needed help with their marketing materials. I started making business cards for new clients just starting their own companies. I was doing everything for my business.

It was a challenge to overcome being fired and having to build Regality Entertainment out of necessity. But I leaned on my own knowledge, experience and vision to help me build the brand to what it is today. I learned all aspects of running a successful company from what seemed to be a very unfortunate situation. Being fired was one of the best things that ever happened to me - I seized the opportunity and it allowed me to have compassion for others.
